In Bhārat's sacred land, in wisdom's light gleam, Two souls arose, from divinity's stream. Shankara and Ramānuja, names renowned, In search of truth, their paths unbound.
Both sought the essence, the cosmic thread, In Vedantic truths, they humbly tread. Unity in diversity, their guiding star, In Vedas' words, they saw afar.
Shankara, the Advaita sage, profound, In oneness, Brahman's truth he found. Illusions of the world, a mere shadow play, Maya's veil, he taught, would fade away.
Ramānuja, with Vishishtādvaita's grace, Saw divinity in each and every place. In Bhakti's fire, hearts he did ignite, Love for the Divine, his guiding light.
Their teachings stirred the hearts of men, Awakening souls, again and again. From Himalayan peaks to Kanyākumāri's shores, Their wisdom spread, like sacred spores.
"Ātman is Brahman," Shankara proclaimed, In every soul, the Divine inflamed. Ramānuja echoed, "Love's sweet call, In service to God, surrender your all."
In timeless verses, their words resound, In temples, chants, the holy ground. Shankara's Advaita, Ramānuja's Bhakti soar, In the quest for truth, forevermore.
Shiva's essence in Shankara did shine, Lakshmana's devotion, Ramānuja, so fine. In their lives, the divine did play, Leading humanity on the eternal way!
